Eisriesenwelt (giant ice world)

The cave tour takes about 1 hour and 15 minutes. A very special experience – are the Eisriesen the largest ice caves in the world. For the entire visit from/to parking lot, you should calculate approx. 3 hours (inkl. access and ascending with the the cableway).

Sturdy shoes and warm clothes are required for visiting the 'giant ice world' because the temperature is in summer usually below zero! During the visit of the cave you have to overcome 134 m.

Undoubtedly, however, you will be compensated for any effort by the beauty of the ice sculptures and the impressive dimensions of the cave. The ice cave is under monumental protection and can only be entered with authorized guides.
