In the Schwarzleotal valley there are traces of prehistoric mining. Visitors follow the tracks into the mine through the medieval tunnels again made available for the public. Opened in 1989, the visitor's mine is a very family friendly designed attraction in the region Leogang-Saalfelden in Pinzgau, Salzburger Land. The mine can be visited even in bad weather.
The Schwarzleotal valley with the Schwarzleo creek is rightly counted amoung one of the most scenic valleys in Leogang on the border with Tyrol. The mining greeting “Glück Auf!” greets visitors at the mouth of the Barbara mining gallery.
